The Book Club's Selection Is The Siege of Krishnapur by J. G. Farrell

Winner of the Booker Prize, The Siege of Krishnapur is widely considered one of the finest British novels of the last 50 years. The tale is set in India in 1857, the year of the Great Mutiny, when Muslim soldiers turned against their British overlords.
